SUMMARY

Skilled welder experienced in MIG, flux-core (outer shield), and electrode rod welding, with proficiency in hand and stationary cutting torch operation. Able to read and interpret weld prints accurately and adjust machine settings to ensure proper metal fusion across a variety of job requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Perform welding using MIG, outer shield, and electrode rod methods as job specifications require.
• Operate hand and stationary cutting torches for material preparation and fabrication.
• Read and interpret weld prints to ensure accurate execution of job requirements.
• Regulate weld machine current, voltage, gas flow, and electrode type to achieve proper metal fusion.
• Stand for the duration of a full shift and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Experienced in MIG, outer shield, and electrode rod welding techniques.
• Skilled in the use of hand and stationary cutting torches.
• Able to read and understand weld prints.
• Capable of adjusting weld machine settings (current, voltage, gas, electrode type) to meet job requirements.
• Able to stand for a full shift and lift 50 pounds.
