SUMMARY

Responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate records and inventory control. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, delivering materials, performing basic assembly, building crates, preparing shipments, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts. Maintains a safe and organized shipping area and provides training to other employees on job duties and procedures. Requires strong recordkeeping skills, blueprint-reading ability, safe equipment operation, and the ability to support team training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Properly receive and dispatch incoming and outgoing materials.
• Complete receiving documentation and accurately maintain all required logs and records.
• Verify material counts and inspect materials for condition and accuracy.
• Deliver materials to designated areas.
• Perform simple assembly of attachments.
• Build crates and pack materials and parts for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain the shipping area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Train other employees on the duties and procedures associated with the classification.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to accurately maintain records and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for part identification.
• Ability to perform basic assembly work.
• Ability to safely build crates and prepare shipments.
• Ability to safely operate Company vehicles.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
