SUMMARY

Skilled painter with the ability to prepare a variety of paint materials for spray application and maintain painting equipment in good working order. Experienced in surface preparation tasks, including cleaning, hand grinding, and metal finishing, along with safe operation of the overhead crane.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Prepare various types of paint materials for spray application.
• Clean, maintain, and repair spray guns, paint tanks, and hoses as needed.
• Perform cleaning, material handling, hand grinding, and hand or machine metal finishing tasks.
• Operate the overhead crane as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Knowledgeable in preparing paint materials for spray application.
• Skilled in cleaning, maintaining, and repairing spray guns, paint tanks, and hoses.
• Capable of performing cleaning, material handling, hand grinding, and metal finishing tasks.
• Able to operate the overhead crane.
